Full Time Member Service Representative, Aurora & Oswego, IL
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
- Provide quality service to members and potential members
- Recognize member needs and cross-sell products and services
- Balance cash drawer daily
- Represent the credit union in a professional manner, both in dress and in actions
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Actively participate and complete knowledge courses
- Complies with all regulations as required by law, including by not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, FACT Act, Regulation CC (funds availability), Regulation DD (TIS) and other regulations as required by law as it relates to his/her position
- Balance the Currency Vault and the Coin Vault
- Open new accounts and collect all information according to policy for file
- Order credit/debit cards
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist the members
- Perform deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments daily
- Monitor and post incoming and outgoing wires
- Fill out and submit CTR & SAR forms when applicable
- Respond to emails or member correspondences in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Applicant must have cash handling skills, good math skills, effective communications, positive attitude and willingness to promote the credit union products and services. Applicants must have basic computer operating skills with beginner to intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Pay: $16.00 - $23.77 per hour
