As part of our Warehouse Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our technicians as they install and maintain fire protection equipment. Your contributions will ensure a seamless flow of materials, allowing us to deliver top-notch service to our valued clients. This Warehouse Clerk role is aligned to the Sprinkler department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Our Technicians: Pull stock daily to equip our technicians and installers for their essential work.
- Complete Deliveries: As needed, deliver products to our technicians to their job site locations.
- Inventory Management: Match received inventory with packing slips, track discrepancies, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
- Maintain Accurate Stock Levels: Return unused stock to inventory to keep our supplies up to date. Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, product performance, and inventories.
- Operate Forklift: Utilize your forklift skills to help manage warehouse logistics.
- Nightly Operations: Move trucks from the yard to the garage to maintain our fleet.
- Work with Technology: Utilize Profit Zoom, WMS/Inventory Management System, and MS Office as needed to streamline processes.
Job Requirements:
- Experience Matters: Prior pick & pack experience is highly desirable, and familiarity with UPS Worldship is a plus.
- Self-Starter: You should be proactive and able to take initiative with little or no direction.
- Independent Worker: The ability to work independently without supervision is essential.
- Customer-Centric Attitude: Delivering excellent customer service every day is a must – internal and external customer service is important.
- Education: GED or HSD is required.
- Physical Requirements: You should be able to lift 50 pounds and be comfortable with regular walking, standing, and movement throughout the workday.
Compensation: The starting pay rate for this position is $23 hourly.
