Fire Equipment Shop Technician (Fire Extinguisher)
Full Time 40 Hours Weekly, First Shift, Monday-Friday
Occasional Overtime Available

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to making a positive impact on fire safety. As a Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician, you'll play a key part in ensuring our customers' fire extinguishers are fully operational and that they have the knowledge to stay safe in an emergency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect & Service Fire Extinguishers: You’ll test, hydro-test, and recharge fire extinguishers to ensure they meet safety standards and are ready for use.
- Maintain a Tidy & Efficient Work Environment: Keep our shop clean, organized, and stocked, ensuring all equipment is ready to go when needed.
- Follow Systems to Maximize Efficiency: Work closely with your supervisor to follow maintenance protocols and streamline workflows to keep operations running smoothly.
- Lead Fire Safety Training: Share your expertise by conducting on-site fire safety demonstrations for customers or employees at their locations. You'll be the go-to resource for answering questions and helping others feel confident in their fire safety knowledge.
- Provide Hands-On Guidance: Help customers understand how to properly use fire extinguishers and safely manage small fires when needed.
- Assist in Fire Extinguishment: In emergency situations, you may be called to help extinguish small fires, putting your training and skills into action.
Job Requirements:
- Team Player & Independent Worker: You can balance working alone with collaborating as part of a team, depending on the task at hand. Occasional overtime is available during peak times.
- Mechanical Aptitude: If you have a knack for understanding how things work, we’d love to hear from you. Prior experience in maintenance or mechanical work is a plus, but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license are a must for travel to customer locations.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs
