Foxborough Regional Charter School District (FRCS) is a unique and diverse school serving students from across Southeastern Massachusetts. Job Summary:
Instruct pupils in art, such as painting, sketching, designing, and sculpting. Prepares lesson plans and establishes course goals to help students develop a life-long love of the arts and joyful confidence in art-making through high-quality instruction. Provides individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs and motivate students. Candidates should be able to demonstrate mastery of subject knowledge, common core state standards, a proven ability to manage a classroom, the desire and ability to work up to the standards of a high-performing team, and an entrepreneurial spirit and approach to teaching.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate for this position will:
Demonstrate knowledge of the state and school district arts curriculum and academic standards, including knowledge of the ways in which learning takes place and the appropriate levels of cognitive, social, and emotional development for adolescents;
Establish a respectful environment for a diverse population of students, developing a classroom learning environment in which each child has a positive, nurturing relationship with caring adults and other children;
Facilitate learning for all students using a variety of instructional methods to provide students with opportunities to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, encourage exploration of ideas, and develop leadership qualities;
Reflect on teaching practices, analyze student learning, development, and growth, and apply what is learned to improve instruction;
Demonstrate leadership, advocate for the school and its students, and exhibit high ethical standards;
Take responsibility for student academic growth using a variety of assessments and ongoing improvement of instructional practice.

Regular attendance is an essential function; absences should be rare and in alignment with district attendance and punctuality standards
Responsible for implementing other job-related duties as needed
Salary : $51,000 - $90,950
