The company also established its in-house unscripted studio FOX Alternative Entertainment (The Masked Singer, Snake Oil, I Can See Your Voice, Name That Tune), FOX Entertainment Studios (Animal Control) to develop scripted content, and worldwide content sales unit FOX Entertainment Global.JOB DESCRIPTION TMZ is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to build and implement product strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience retrieving and analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products. As Sr. Product Manager, you are the advocate for our users; identifying opportunities to improve the experience by listening to feedback, analyzing behavior, and experimenting with features that surprise and delight our audience base. You will examine the funnel within which casual visitors become regular users and develop strategies to reduce fallout and drive conversion. This position is based onsite in Playa Vista, CA.Responsibilities : Collaborate with senior management to create product plans and roadmapsSupervise and mentor the growth of a junior product managerHeavy stakeholder management and coordination with cross-functional teamsPrepare and review product requirements documents (PRD)Create tickets and supervise the KanbanOrganize product releases properly and ensure compliance with schedulePrepare recommendations to expand product base and visionPrepare recommendations to track product use and impact on end usersManage multiple vendor relationshipsCreate product mocks and work closely with the art team to define the appropriate visualizationAreas of focus : Ad strategy, personalization, app & newsletter strategyEstablish self as subject-matter expert on digital products, best practices, competition, and the latest industry trendsAssist with all aspects of the product lifecycle, including strategy, product requirements definition, design, competitive research, forecasting, launch plans, testing, and future enhancementsRegularly track product performance and success metrics, and report them to stakeholdersRequirements : 5 years' experience of working as a Product Manager building products for digital mediaIn-depth experience in adtech, 1st party cookies, personalization, AI & A / B testingStrong technical proficiency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and UX DesignComfortable working within the Adobe tech stack, Github, Monday, G Suite, and ConfluenceSignificant experience in product lifecycle management and working in an Agile environmentExpert at troubleshooting, with a strong voice of expertise and authorityStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills with a creative approachBachelor's Degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, or other related area preferred, but not required)Experience with indirect ad technologies, delivery, and implementationExperience working with Android, iOS, Web, CMS, APIs, and third-party platformsExperience with OTT, Smart Speaker, Smart Surfaces, and other emerging platforms a plusDigital news publishing experience preferred but not requiredTMZ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
