Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled webMethods Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing enterprise-level integration solutions using the webMethods platform, as well as proficiency in Java for customization and integration tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using webMethods Integration Server (IS), webMethods Designer, and other related tools.

• Implement and integrate web services, EDI solutions, APIs, and data transformations across multiple platforms.

• Leverage Java to write custom services, perform complex data transformations, and create integration logic within webMethods.

• Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.

• Work with existing legacy systems to integrate them with new applications, ensuring seamless data exchange.

• Provide support for ongoing integration projects, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Stay up-to-date with webMethods platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and support of integration solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to webMethods integration services and Java-based customizations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience with webMethods Integration Server (IS), webMethods Designer, and related webMethods tools.

• Proficiency in integration technologies such as EDI, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and web services.

• Experience with data transformation, mapping, and integration techniques.

• Understanding of ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) architecture and its implementation.

• Familiarity with enterprise application integration (EAI) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).

• Strong understanding of databases and SQL, with experience in integrating webMethods with relational databases.

• Familiarity with monitoring, debugging, and optimizing webMethods applications.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot integration issues effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cloud-based integration and deployment practices.

• Familiarity with project management knowledge/tools.

• Certification in webMethods.

• Knowledge of Java frameworks like Spring or Hibernate for advanced integration tasks.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3 years of experience working with webMethods Integration Server and related tools.

• Experience in an enterprise-level integration environment is a plus.
