Primary Function : Make sure corporate has sufficient fund for payments and payroll with performing corporate accounts daily monitoring and managing duties, including cash management, funding arrangement, streamlined operation per cash collection and payments. Present finance accounting entries proposals and support other projects as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Payments arrangement : Process due invoices for payments. Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Treasury transactions management : Initiate transactions via online banking (ACH, Wire or international wire), checks issuing / deposit or manual remittance, online banking maintenance of vendor information and payment pre-format set up, etc.
- Cash management : Monitor the responsible accounts to ensure sufficient fund for operation with estimating amounts of account payable, account receivable and payrolls on a daily basis.
- Bookkeeping : Initiate vouchers for monthly bank interest income / expenses, capital injection, bank reconciliation and also documentation filing for finance related accounts.
- Supporting Financial Operations : Assist with day-to-day financial operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and expense management.
- Data Management : Maintain financial data and records accurately and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Financial Compliance : Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, as well as company policies and procedures. For inter-company loans, guarantee and endorsement, new investment, the candidate needs to be familiar with the relevant regulations and to prepare the report to comply with the requirements.
- Financial Modeling : Build financial models to support strategic planning, investment analysis, and decision-making. This could include scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, pressure test and other techniques to assess financial outcomes and help the management team to make decisions.
- Corporate credit card program : Manage the corporate credit card system with helping the card holder to solve the daily issues and also cooperate with stakeholders to reconciliate the expenses monthly.
- Funding arrangements : Assist managers to prepare the documents for banking loan drawdown / repayment, inter-company loans, capital injection / public disclosure if needed, and renew bank facilities, etc.
- Monitor account balance : Provides a quick view of the total balance in all accounts under Finance team’s management.
- Account Officer role : Collaborate with Business Units team, including but not limited to Business Controller and Cost Management team, and Accounting team to identify and resolve issues from finance and accounting process to support and improve operation efficiency in the scope of responsible subsidiaries. Regularly or irregularly travel to responsible subsidiary’s site to socialize and collaborate with front-end team supporting financial requirement from business cycle.
- Study and Research : Conduct research and generate reports or presentation per finance projects related to business, industry, customer or technology that assigned by Managers. Lead or join as project team members to initiate, evaluate, propose and execute financial projects assigned by Managers such as new bank account opening, process improvement, due diligence, auditing, etc.
- Cross-border communication with Asia treasury team to process the headquarters authorization on central account payment transactions, to acquire signatures on banking documents, and to drive approval on transaction proposal in the centralized treasury system.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
