What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Business Partner position at Foxconn-PCE Technology?
As a Manager for HR Business Partnering, you will work with one or more business client groups to develop and execute HR strategies that align HR practices with business goals. You will think strategically as well as roll up your sleeves and dive deep into practical application. To be successful, you must understand business priorities and be able to effectively translate them into an HR agenda in an environment where they may shift rapidly. In this position, you will also serve as a liaison between the business and the Region HR COE and Shared Services teams to assess needs and help deliver solutions in areas such as performance management, engagement, employee relations, compensation and team member development.
What You Will Be Doing
· Collaborate with business client group leaders to set the group HR agenda.
· Advise on and/or assist with business restructures, specific transformation efforts, M&A activities, job design and workforce planning.
· Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees regarding the implementation of company policies and programs in the areas of performance management, training and professional development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment and selection, organization change and engagement.
· Support client group leaders in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy and headcount & budget targets.
· Partner with client groups to enable robust performance management and career development discussions, reinforce pay for performance, and model and foster the desired company culture.
· Work with region HR to resolve complex employee relations issues and investigations.
· Act as strategic HR advisor, coach, counsel, and guide to client group leaders, managers and supervisors before executing employee disciplinary actions.
· Create a high touch/personal HR experience by being responsive to employees and their questions, concerns and level of engagement.
· Help drive overall HR organizational key results by participating in and/or leading assigned change initiatives and projects in the COE areas of Talent, Reward, Learning, Performance, Continuous Improvement and Analytics.
Your Experience and Education
· Minimum of 10 years of progressively more responsible HRBP experience, with at least 3 years in an HRBP leadership role.
· Prior experience in a COE role such as Talent, Reward, Learning, Performance, Continuous Improvement and/or Analytics is desired, but not required.
· Automotive/EV industry background with experience supporting business client groups having a strong manufacturing and technical/engineering footprint.
· Experience working with senior management in an “influence-without-authority” role.
· Prior professional experience in both a complex, matrixed, global organization as well as in a lean, fluid start-up environment.
· Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Human Resources, business or related fields is preferred; PHR/SPHR is a plus.
· Ability to work on-site in the Detroit metropolitan area and travel monthly.
