Job Description - IT Network Engineer

FSLA Status : Exempt

Location : Lordstown, OH

Reports To : IT Application Manager

Direct Reports : None

Primary Function : IT Network Engineer provides support services such Networking Device configurations, Security Device configurations, network monitoring, troubleshooting, and other server / network application services. This role provides an exciting opportunity for the candidate to be part of the Foxconn's EV journey and grow with it.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Complete network and security device configuration and management.
Monitor and provide administration to the network daily.
Complete project related task as assigned.
Document and enforce IT policies and procedures.
Administer firmware updates and patching all networking related equipment.
Lifecycle management of networking and related equipment.
Physical mount equipment as needed.
Troubleshooting fiber and ethernet connectivity issues.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Required Education

Associate Degree / Bachelor's Degree or high school diploma / equivalent plus 5 years of relevant processional experience.

Required Experience

A minimum three to five years of experience in server / network applications required.

Deep understanding of IP Networking in a manufacturing environment

Deep understanding of network segmentation

Deep understand of firewalls and cyber security best practices

Strong troubleshooting skills
