What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Software Support Engineer position at Foxconn?
- Uses all available tools to resolve system issues.
- Determine Escalation point and provide error logs, screenshots and information as needed.
- Maintain Workstation and laptop inventory and related software inventory.
- Perform routine maintenance on workstations, laptops, printers, monitors, scanners, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Zebra label printers.
- Maintain timeclock hardware.
- Image new systems and keep all systems up-to-date.
- Work with SSE team on both UAT and production deployments.
- Work with INSE on network patching, and network cabinet maintenance.
- Manage ticketing system to make sure all requests are processed in a timely manner.
- Prepare equipment for Recycling, and remove from inventory.
- Maintain documentation of procedures, for various software and hardware.
- Work with SSE to develop and provide up-to-date training documents.
- Provide Daily support to users for production issues, hardware and software issues, and provide path towards resolution.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience in desktop support role.
- Experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products
- Troubleshooting and performing triage on a wide variety of issues.
- Cursory knowledge of networking.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with people having various technical skill levels.
- Able to manage working multiple unrelated tasks simultaneously.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Training Requirements:
Understanding Production areas and Operations.
Understanding of our various developed software.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require sitting for long periods.
This position may require standing for extended periods of time.
Required to lift un-assisted up to 50 lbs.
This position may require using ladders.
Personal Protective Equipment:
This position requires no Personal Protective Equipment.
Work Environment:
Warehouse environment.
Occasional exposure to shop elements including noise, dust, fumes, odors, and a range of ambient temperatures.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
