OB/GYN practice located in NW Washington, DC is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join their highly regarded, well established OB/GYN practice of 10 physicians who compassionately care for women from adolescence to menopause
- FTE – Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

- Licensure: Current, active, unrestricted license as a Registered Professional Nurse and Registration as Nurse Practitioner in Washington, DC
- Education: Master's Degree in Nursing; Board Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Must have two years of clinical experience as a women’s health nurse practitioner.
Responsible for patient care as outlined within the collaborative care practice agreement, including, but not limited to:
- Assess patient health status by means of comprehensive history and physical exam.
- Initiate laboratory testing, prescribe medications, interpret lab and radiology findings and alter plan of care according to collaborative practice agreement and protocols in the area of health promotion, maintenance and disease prevention in the specialty field of obstetrics and gynecology.
- Document findings and plan of care in electronic medical record.
- Review lab and radiology results and report back to patients in a timely manner.
- Consult with physicians as established in the collaborative practice agreement.
