Foxhole Technology is seeking an experienced Lead Network Engineer to lead a team of information assurance professionals and support a critical Government program.
Job Description
- Lead and Mentor Network Team
- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, ensuring security and compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage network performance and availability to maintain optimal operations.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to develop integrated solutions.
- Support network-related incident response and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
- Oversee multiple network enclaves to ensure seamless user access to program services.
- Manage network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical devices across NIPRNet and SIPRNet connected enclaves.
- Ensure encryption certificate compliance, proactively requesting and installing new certificates 60 days prior to expiration to prevent service disruptions.
- Configure, monitor, patch, and troubleshoot network devices to optimize performance and security.
- Support the efficient decommissioning of network services when no longer required
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities with Government and cross-functional teams.
