The ideal candidate will have experience working in a network security environment, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Incident Response Center (CIRC) or Cyber Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC).Job Description
- Install, configure, maintain Linux servers, Windows servers, and the underlying virtual infrastructure.
- Perform configuration / life cycle management of existing virtual infrastructure and running virtual machines.
- Manage and maintain multiple third-party software support systems
- Perform day-to-day operations in Microsoft Active Directory.
- Repair / replace hardware and software as required
- Track software licensing
- Perform / monitor daily backup of critical data
- Track system vulnerabilities and correct / mitigate in a timely fashion
- Document system configurations and update existing system
- Scripting (shell / powershell) experience is a plus.
- Support the stable operation of SOC computing infrastructure in a team
- Experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter / ESXi)
- Experience with Tenable.SC or Nessus
- Experience with STIG process and / or OS hardening practicesMinimum Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years IT experience
- BS Degree or additional work experience substitution
