Position Overview
Foxit is seeking a Director of People & Culture to lead and elevate the people strategy for both the APAC and Americas regions while being based in the USA (Ideally Pacific Time Zone). This role requires a strategic, globally-minded leader fluent in both Mandarin and English, with expertise in talent management, organizational development, and HR operations across multiple countries. The role involves direct oversight of the US People & Culture team, management of the APAC region’s People & Culture operations, and collaboration with the EMEA People & Culture Lead. The Director will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The Director will partner with regional leadership in both APAC and the Americas to align People & Culture initiatives with business needs and global objectives, ensuring Foxit develops and supports top talent in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to employee experience, cultural alignment, and strategic partnership.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of regional people strategies across APAC and the Americas, with direct oversight of the US People & Culture team, management of APAC operations, and collaboration with the EMEA People & Culture Lead, ensuring alignment with Foxit’s global initiatives and business goals.
• Employee Experience: Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture by implementing engagement strategies, leadership development programs, and employee experience initiatives tailored to both regions.
• People Development: Oversee leadership development, succession planning, and talent reviews to build a robust pipeline of future leaders across APAC and the Americas.
• Regional Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all APAC and Americas countries in which Foxit operates.
• HR Operations: Implement and optimize scalable HR processes, tools, and systems to support the employee lifecycle (onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding).
• Change Management: Lead organizational change efforts, providing strong change management strategies to guide teams through periods of transition.
• Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI): Promote DEI initiatives that are tailored to the unique needs of both regions while aligning with Foxit’s global DEI strategies.
• Collaboration: Act as a bridge between regional teams and global People & Culture leadership to ensure consistent messaging, policy alignment, and best practice sharing.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR leadership roles, ideally within a global tech or SaaS company.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with strong cultural competency in managing teams across APAC and the Americas regions.
• Demonstrated experience managing HR operations and talent strategies in global markets.
• Expertise in implementing and optimizing HRIS and other people-related technologies.
• Proven ability to develop and drive impactful HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively across diverse teams and leadership levels.
• Deep knowledge of employment laws and labor regulations in APAC and the Americas.
• Experience advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives on a regional or global scale.

Salary Range: $180,000
