Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
- Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Uphold food safety standards during food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Willingness to learn about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and food preparation techniques.
