What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Asian Marketing position at Foxwoods Resort Casino?
Under the direction of the Vice President of Asian Marketing, the incumbent is responsible for the successful implementation of marketing efforts associated with the Table Games customer segment. Responsible for achieving established annual goals regarding the following : total theoretical revenue and profit, total actual revenue and profit, and new / reactivated player quotas. Strong ability to analyze marketing programs, event proforma. Five (5) years of marketing and gaming management experience in the casino industry required. Experience managing large numbers of employees, including scheduling, ensuring departmental policies and procedures are being adhere to. Ability to read and write short memo. Must be familiar with Asian culture and language. Must speak, read and write fluent Chinese Mandarin and English. Additional Asian languages such as Vietnamese and Korean are plus. Must be able to cooperate and coordinate Asian events. Proven ability of database maintaining and management. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with staff as well as patrons. Required to become proficient with department specific computer programs. Due to the nature of the business, must be able to work flexible hours as dictated by outside business needs. Must be able to travel frequently based on business needs.
