Job Title: Plumber
Description
Under the supervision of the Manager of Plumbing and Drainage, this role involves installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures, piping systems, pumps, and drainage systems on or around the premises in accordance with applicable building codes and oral instructions/specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, pipe work, pumps, and drainage systems.
- Work under the direction of the Manager of Plumbing and Drainage to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications.
Requirements
- High School diploma or technical certificate required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related casino experience necessary.
- Valid CT S-2 Journeyman license and supply of personal hand tools required.
- BASIC MECHANICAL APTITUDE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL ESSENTIAL.
- EXCELLENT EYE/HAND COORDINATION, ABILITY TO STAND AND WALK FOR EXTENDED PERIODS REQUIRED.
- ABILITY TO CRAWL AND BALANCE IN HIGH, PRECARIOUS PLACES, CAPABLE OF LIFTING UP TO 50 POUNDS AND CLIMBING ON LADDERS.
- KEEN SENSES OF SMELL AND HEARING, ABILITY TO SPEAK CLEARLY REQUIRED.
Working Conditions
- Exposed to electrical current and frequent work in high heat and cold weather conditions.
- Noise level is moderate.
