JOB TITLE: Clean Room Production Associate
POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Manufacturing
POSITION SUMMARY: A cleanroom is an environment where pharmaceutical or medical products are assembled. The environment is strictly regulated to adhere to quality standards, and there is a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles, and chemical vapors. Air quality, temperature, and humidity are all closely monitored and controlled. Due to these strict air quality standards, wearing make-up, perfume, or acrylic nails is not allowed in a cleanroom environment. Before entering the cleanroom, you will be required to following a gowning procedure, and when inside the cleanroom, a lab coat, gloves, hair net, and booties must be always worn.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Follow supervisor and work order instructions and procedures to perform all tasks in the assembly process.
- Communicate with supervisors or engineers to resolve production problems.
- Quality inspect product per specifications.
- Perform daily cleaning of workspace, maintaining quality control specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have access to reliable transportation.
- Able to work with hands on large and small objects.
- Able to lift to 10-15 pounds.
- Able to work individually or as part of a team.
- Able to work various assembly tasks across numerous product lines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTION:
- Performs additional duties as directed.
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:
- Preferred High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience or On-the-job training.
