Childhood Music Instructor, Local Only

fp Music Academy is looking for a committed part-time Childhood Music Instructor to join our team.

You would provide private group and one-on-one music education to primarily children. You will be responsible for passing along to others your musical skills and abilities. You must provide knowledge and instruction to students while helping them develop skills that complement their interests and abilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. You must be patient and encouraging at all times, providing help to students who may struggle with grasping the concepts and skills that you are trying to convey.

Qualifications:

• Early childhood education experience is a plus
• Special needs education is a plus
• Have a deep interest in passing along to others the musical skills and abilities that you have acquired
• Skilled in assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback
• Interest in collaborating with other teachers and participating in regular meetings
• Proficiency in your instrument(s), and skilled in developing and enriching your own musical skills and knowledge by regular personal development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Be comfortable using technology to support your work
• Strong moral values and self-discipline
