What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at FPC of Greensboro, NC?
We are looking for candidates for a manufacturing / process engineer to be responsible for the existing process, tools and equipment in one of the manufacturing lines for our client's site located outside Columbia, SC. They will ensure OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), process capability and leverage lean methodology to improve capacity, reduce costs, and deliver performance to meet or exceed standard manufacturing KPIs.
The Ideal Candidate will demonstrate:
- Proficient in Safety & Ergonomics, Machine Design, Teamwork, Communication, Self Driven, Decisive, and understanding of relevant Computer Systems.
- Hands-on technical leadership Driving improvement in equipment efficiency
- Strong emphasis on continuous improvement and lean methodologies
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting for immediate impact
- Rigorous prioritization, execution, validation, and change control.
- Ability to coach and develop associates on CI methodologies.
- High-speed, automated manufacturing experience is required. Medical device manufacturing is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
