What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at FPC of Greensboro, NC?
The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. Ensuring a safe workplace and that associates follow safe work practice is the first priority for this leader. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. Performance is measured to SQDIP KPI's. The will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Daily Management, drive CI based on SQDIP KPIs
- Hands on leadership at Gemba
- Performance management of team members (work assignment, manage headcount, assess performance and address underperformers)
- Develop team member skills through training matrix / development plans
- Coordinate support with key internal and external production stakeholders (Safety, Maintenance, HR, etc.) to ensure production readiness
- Ensure product quality levels. Engage the team to address issues (process, equipment, etc.)
Qualifications of the ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lean Manufacturing certifications
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
