What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trusts & Estates Attorney position at FPC of Savannah?
We have partnered with an AM200 Law Firm on a number of positions with their Private Client Team. The firm seeks attorneys with 4 years of experience in trusts and estates law to join its highly regarded team. Openings are available at the Associate, Senior Associate, and Counsel levels.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- 4 years of demonstrated experience in private client/trusts and estates matters (domestic estate planning, administration, tax planning)
- Deep understanding of federal and state tax laws, especially as they relate to estate and income taxation
- Experience with succession planning, lifetime gifting strategies, and planning for retirement assets
- Strong technical skills and exceptional client service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
- Admission in good standing to the New York or New Jersey Bar (depending on office preference)
There also is an opportunity to specialize in Special Needs Planning (in Connecticut)
