Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance camera systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Report any suspicious activity or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Write detailed reports on incidents, including descriptions of individuals involved and actions taken.
- Maintain a high level of attentiveness and alertness while on duty
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and law enforcement personnel
- Dispatch security personnel or emergency services when necessary
- Observe and monitor dealership areas to identify irregular access and/or activities occurring in restricted areas.
- Operate a video management system to view camera feeds from multiple client properties
- Review video alerts and report incidents
- Export video footage and share files via SharePoint or OneDrive
- Report to the Supervisor any suspicious activities and/or irregular circumstances occurring at the dealership locations.
- Maintain daily log sheets and completes Incident Reports to note all unusual behavior
- Share all pertinent information with the next shift in regards to any suspicious and/or irregular activity occurred during their shift.
- In the event of an emergency, reports all suspicious or unusual activity to the proper individuals. Provides pertinent information the Police Department (PD), Fire Department, or Emergency Medical Teams when necessary.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned.
- Maintain excellent vision and hearing.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with report writing.
- Comfortable working with technology and surveillance software
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Must be willing to address emergencies promptly and appropriately
- Familiarity with surveillance systems
