Key Responsibilities
- Operate our dispatch system efficiently, guaranteeing prompt responses to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Serve as the central point of contact for our security team, managing deployment and delivering essential information to field personnel.
- Keep comprehensive and precise records of all dispatch activities, incident reports, and communications, in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory mandates.
- Offer regular and detailed updates to clients and management regarding security incidents and response measures, fostering transparency and confidence in our services.
- Work in partnership with law enforcement and emergency services as needed, ensuring a unified approach to incidents that exceed private security capabilities.
- Pursue ongoing education and training to remain informed about the latest developments and technologies in security and dispatch operations.
Requirements
- History as a Security Dispatcher, (preferred) with credible experience in a security operations center or comparable setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, essential for handling high-stress scenarios and ensuring effective communication.
- Skilled in utilizing security technologies and dispatch software, with a readiness to swiftly adapt to and master new systems.
- Proven ability to think on one's feet and make quick, informed decisions in emergencies, prioritizing safety and security at all times.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of multitasking efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support round-the-clock security operations.
