We are seeking dedicated Security Officers to support recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton in Central Florida. Officers will be responsible for safeguarding properties, ensuring safety, and preventing unauthorized access in affected areas. This is a critical role in providing security during disaster recovery operations.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to protect property and prevent theft, vandalism, and trespassing.
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access to restricted areas.
- Provide assistance and directions to residents and recovery personnel.
- Report any incidents or hazards to appropriate authorities.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal activity.
Requirements:
- Valid Florida security license (Class D).
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and extended shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Previous security experience preferred, especially in disaster recovery or emergency situations.
