Job Summary
Perform all assigned scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks assigned in a safe and timely manner. Ensure compliance with all applicable Safety, GMP's and Food Safety programs, policies and procedures. This position requires competency in the analysis and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Essential Function
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing, utility and facility equipment and share knowledge of applicable electrical and mechanical concepts/principles to other maintenance personnel.
Assist maintenance staff in auditing and updating PM, PdM, and other maintenance documentation as directed.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks as assigned. Must be able to execute position requirements with little or no supervision. Perform other and incidental duties as assigned.
Utilize existing and future Maintenance Management Systems effectively. Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely and complete.
Education
Preferred technical schooling or advanced education in electronics or mechanics
Experience
Must possess at least two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience or Technical/advanced education in electrical, mechanical, or electronics engineering. Must be willing to continue education and/or training.
Needs prior technical/mechanical knowledge in order to analyze and repair equipment.
Other Skills & Knowledge
Basic blue print reading, understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
Basic computer skills.
Effectively utilize basic electrical and mechanical tools.
Welding skills preferred.
Ability to convey technical concepts and effectively communicate with fellow technicians, supervisors, and operations department personnel on a daily basis.
