Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Administrative Support professional to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our quality management systems are maintained. The ideal candidate will perform various administrative and quality duties for the Vice President of Quality, Quality Manager, and Quality Control Department to ensure customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities inlcude the following:
- Maintains and updates the QMS and all Quality databases for compliance purposes. Maintains all Quality Records including surveys and calibrations for all FPM equipment, testers, and furnaces.
- Prints and tracks maintenance PM’s weekly, monthly, and daily. Records and compiles all data for the MRBLOG on non-conforming jobs.
- Receives and resolves customer calls on Quality related issues and Heat Treat certifications. When necessary, will forward calls to appropriate Departments and Managers for follow-up.
- Accumulates company documents necessary for the issuance of a Heat Treat Certification and will perform certification on non-Military/Aerospace work.
- Maintains all customer specifications, Administers Annual Task Tests to employees.
- Understands and follows all departmental work instructions, is able to pass departmental In-House Task Tests, performs work safely and follows all company policies/procedures within the employee Handbook.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned and or required by the job.
Experience/Education/Skills
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or administrative support role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with ISO regulations and quality management principles is highly desirable.
- Have good knowledge in computer and math skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Visual Shop or another Company tracking software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
