About the Role:
We’re seeking a talented Web Developer to build and maintain branded marketing and e-commerce websites that enhance our customers’ digital presence. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing websites primarily in WordPress and Shopify, as well as the occasional custom solution. Working within our digital team, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and account managers to ensure high-quality, visually appealing, and user-friendly web experiences.
The ideal candidate has a moderate to advanced knowledge of WordPress and Shopify, a keen eye for design, and the ability to contribute UX-related recommendations. You should also be comfortable learning new platforms and working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain marketing and e-commerce websites using WordPress, Shopify, and custom solutions.
- Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
- Implement UX and design recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Stay current with web development trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant WordPress experience.
- Strong understanding of HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and general website aesthetics.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, GSuite, Facebook Business Manager, and Google Ads Manager.
- Ability to contribute to design and illustration tasks.
- Ability to commute daily to our office in Springfield, OR
Compensation: $20 - $27 per hour (DOE)
