Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos.
• Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and pricing.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Experience

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers is essential.
• Experience in upselling products or services is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with supervising staff or training new employees is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
