- Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
- Assist in inventory management through restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Supervise junior staff members when required, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, discounts, and inventory counts.
- Exhibit professional phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers is essential.
