What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Consultant position at Fractional Procurement Group?
As a Procurement / Savings Consultant you will work with suppliers to lower expenses for our clients, provide alternative solutions for similar products and recommend next steps for our clients in order to maximize their annual savings.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluation of client's invoices and contracts
- Negotiation of new rates and contracts with vendors
- Documentation of all vendor/client communications
- Run RFPs
- Manage vendor relationships
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven negotiation skills
- B2B sales and customer service experience
- Procurement experience, including running RFPs
- Confidence and strong decision making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Passion and an outgoing Personality- happy to jump on a call or into a Zoom meeting to work with clients and vendors
- Self-motivated and can work efficiently, effectively, and independently
