Primary Responsibilities
Work directly with Project Manager to develop project documentation including : RFIs, Submittals, and schedules
Aid in the preparation of the project construction schedule and work plans
Organize and manage architectural and design drawings
Maintain inspection logs for City and special inspections
Manage and oversee specific assigned tasks
Collaborates with the site superintendent to ensure the timely flow of information, materials, subcontractors, and work on site in a safe and efficient manner
Prepare and maintain Homeowners Construction Manual
Participate in new project walkthroughs and coordination including : invitation to bid, processing subcontractor estimates, and necessary follow up
Facilitate positive and productive relationships between everyone on the project, including architects, designers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Qualifications
Experience in residential construction
A degree or certification in Construction Management, a plus
Experience in cost estimating, budget tracking, project scheduling, and value engineering
Willingness to learn to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and landscaping plans and specifications
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable interacting with architects, designers, clients, subcontractors, and building department personnel
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Project and Bluebeam, and Procore a plus
