This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR.
**Job Summary:**
The CNC Machinist III produces machined parts by setting up, programming as necessary, and operating either a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, surface grinder, manual machine, or other piece(s) of equipment; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment and supplies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Inspect machinery to ensure the equipment is in good working order before start-up.
- Conduct all required setup, adjusting off-sets to close-tolerance specifications.
- Interpret and execute written instructions from process travelers, routers, and work instructions.
- Perform in-process inspection of product to ensure specifications and quality requirements are met.
- Perform routine machine maintenance as required.
- Follow safety protocol.
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisor and/or management immediately.
- Keep all work areas clean and organized.
