You have completed a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 5 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

- Demonstrated experience in developing software architecture, testing, and documentation to meet requirements specific to numerical methods or similar scopes of work
- Demonstrated experience with software development in scopes of numerical methods or related engineering simulations or data assessments
- Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as C / C or FORTRAN under an NQA-1 or similar quality program.

As an Experienced Codes and Methods Software Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the BWR Thermal-Hydraulics Codes and Methods Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit, which is responsible for maintaining and developing the engineering software used to design and license the fuel assemblies loaded in our customers' nuclear reactor cores. The team performs research and development of new codes and methods, addresses emergent issues, and responds to requests from internal and external users. Your work will include :

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug / alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $104,000 - $141,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
