As a Reactor Coolant Pump Field Service Rep in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the IBR Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Under broad supervision, this position is responsible for routine to complex installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and testing of tools and equipment at customer sites. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and execute goals. May direct technicians for various tasks and provide input regarding performance. Will be required to work around radioactivity and corrosive chemicals; must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at customer sites associated with reactor coolant pumps and motors at nuclear power plants.
- Conducts a variety of routine field tasks including, but not limited to operating specialized equipment, taking measurements, compiling data on task and outage performance, and performing without error in high stress environments.
- Develops procedures, problem reports and field schedules and maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.
- May assist with the development of procedures and other related data.
- May provide input to training materials and conduct training.
- May be responsible for directing technicians which includes on the job training, conducting pre-job briefs, defining task requirements, performance management and coaching, documenting performance, managing conflicts between co-workers, and ensuring safety and compliance of individuals and plant equipment.
- Works flexible hours and shifts as required, to ensure timely service.
- Requires travel to a variety of remote job sites.
- Requires unescorted nuclear access (includes background check, psychological exam, and drug screen).
- Remain in a stationary position, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
- Traverse even and uneven surfaces, including frequently ascending and descending ladders.
- Continuous use of arms, hands, wrist, legs, feet, neck, and waist.
- Occasionally/frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
- Exposure to elevated heat conditions indoors.
- Additional physical requirements may be required of the job holder based upon the business unit/line and/or at the request of Framatome Inc. management.

Your total rewards package
The range of base salary for the position is between $33.80 - $44.30 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
