You have completed a High school diploma or equivalent, a 2-year machine technology certificate, and a 4-year related apprenticeship. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related role for at least 3 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:

• Advance knowledge of conventional and CNC machine tool operations as required including tooling, fixturing, and gaging.
• Demonstrated the ability to efficiently and consistently produce quality machined component, tools, fixtures, and gages.
• Be familiar with the company's safety and health policy and program.
• Proficient in CAD software and using Jig Bore, cylindrical, and surfaced grinders to maintain precision tolerancing.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Tool & Die Maker in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Manufacturing Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Building and repairing production shop or other specialty tooling, fixturing, gaging, etc. using a variety of machines and resource including heat treatment, grinders, milling machines, lathes, and saw equipment.
• Relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performing a variety of complicated tasks to build or repair replacement parts and/or fixtures.
• Working under limited supervision
• Interpreting design drawings, solid models, and specifications to build/repair high precision components.
• Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $41.60 - $54.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
