Role Summary:
Framebridge is hiring Art Receivers/Mounters for our manufacturing facility in Richmond, KY, who will be responsible for carefully unpacking and documenting all artwork received for framing. The Art Receiver/Mounter will precisely measure each art piece and use artistic judgment to ensure that the framing specifications for each piece are properly documented in our internal systems.
This role is ideal for those who love art, have a passion for delivering custom, quality products and working in a collaborative team environment. We’ve custom framed over two million pieces, and each one is unique. On any given day, you can expect to see everything from original art, to travel posters, to signed jerseys, to marathon bibs, and so much more!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Art Receivers/Mounters are a part of the Receiving Team, which processes all incoming artwork from our retail stores.
- Art Receivers/Mounters will carefully unpack, photograph, measure, and digitally catalog all artwork that is received in our studio.
- The Art Receiver/Mounters precisely measures and makes decisions about frame sizing, orientation, and placement to ensure each piece of art is properly framed as it moves through our state-of-the-art studio.
- The Receiving Team works in a fast-paced, yet meticulous environment handling each piece with extreme care and precision. Generally, an Art Receiver will handle around 70 pieces of art daily.
- The Art Receiver/Mounters must have a high attention to detail. The Receiver/Mounter will diligently review all order instructions and customer notes; assess the condition, material and dimensions of each piece; and use these details to produce a framing specification for each piece.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
8:30am -2pm
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
1pm-5pm
Tuesday and Thursday

Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to read and use a tape measure at a high level of precision
- Good math skills including familiarity with converting measurements from fractions to decimals
- Basic computer skills – ability to understand and review work orders and type inputs into company software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with and capable of working with your hands
- Capable of problem solving on your own and as a team
Physical Qualifications:
- Able to be on your feet for entire shift (Full-time shift is 10-12 hrs)
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
