About You

You're an experienced Software Engineer, with a history of experience specialising in Frontend development and design systems. If you’ve also had exposure to working in a Full Stack capacity, even better.

You also don't shy away from personal responsibility, are open to divergence of opinion, can explain technical topics in a more easily digestible form, and are excited that we are looking for a team player (because that's just who you are!).

Why We Want You!

• You're looking forward to maintaining and improving Frameplay's applications. Frameplay is scaling up very fast, but you're not worried about that, because it’s a challenge that you're ready to take on!
• You’re excited using TypeScript long term, and have experience developing with some of the more known frameworks (React, Svelte, Vue).
• Part of your experience has previously revolved around working and developing with GraphQL APIs, writing UI E2E tests, and building UIs both from scratch, as well as based on design tools; and if you’ve been around your BFF, even better!
• It would be nice if you're also well versed in other languages. If you have had exposure to Go, even better!
• Over the past years, you have at least had some exposure to a diverse set of applications & services on the Smiley Cloud, and you're not averse to flying off to other clouds.

This position is primarily a hybrid position based in either San Francisco or New York. We honor pay transparency, and the base compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 plus eligibility for the company bonus program (where applicable), a meaningful equity package, a suite of employee benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Actual compensation can vary based on qualifications, experience, and location. Bands listed are for SF based employees.
