This position requires a methodical, driven, tech savvy individual with a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting principles. This position has a lot of autonomy as well as full operational responsibility for the department.

Requirements
Core Responsibilities of the Controller at FrameTec:
- Maintaining current data and transactional information within the accounting and ERP software. We use a combination of Microsoft Great Plains and QuickBooks Online for our general ledger software.
- Production and analysis of financial reporting packages for the various Companies.
- Development of internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budgeting, treasury, lease management, procurement, and other financial related activities.
- Production and maintenance of annual budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) as well as federal, state and local government requirements.
- Assist the CFO in project-related deliverables (e.g., Tax Credits, Incentives etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Technical Expertise – An extensive and current working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles, Microsoft Suite products and general database management.
- Strategic Thinking – Help develop strategies to achieve organizational goals, providing relevant data to support suggested strategies.
- Supervisory Experience - Ability to supervise and create a strong team where employees thrive, exhibit strong work ethic and become engrained in the FrameTec culture.
- High-level Communication Skills – Ability to relay information consistently and accurately as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- 8 years of related experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
