This is an amazing opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of selling into K12 in Florida.
The Account Executive, Education will generate new opportunities with individual schools and districts, respond to leads, maintain a strong pipeline & foster growth within the region through collaboration referrals with existing partnerships. The ideal candidate will embody our client's mission to live in the real world and not behind a screen.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with educational institutions through a combination of outbound customer outreach in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Meet & exceed sales targets by generating and maintaining a reliable sales pipeline.
- Proactively search for and respond to educational organizations' Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Drive lead generation through proactive and independent research efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to school boards, administrators, and other decision-makers to effectively communicate the value proposition of our product and programs.
- Represent the company at regional and national education conferences, trade shows, and events to promote brand awareness and generate leads. (Saturday/Sunday travel may be necessary)
- Negotiate all contracts and pricing quotes with prospective partners
- Work in close partnership with the Implementation and Account Lead to ensure successful hand-off and partner onboarding to maintain a high customer satisfaction rate
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and sales techniques
- Additional projects assigned that support the Company
What you'll bring:
- Background and/or experience in educational sales (specifically K-12)
- Consultative, relationship-driven approach to sales
- Superb interpersonal skills and communicates best in-person
- Proficiency and adaptability in dynamic, rapidly changing environments
- Entrepreneurial, organized, trustworthy, highly autonomous & comfortable traveling
Must haves:
- 2 years of K12 sales experience in Florida
- Prior training focused on sales expansion via cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation
- Travel requirements up to: up to 60% within Florida
- A Valid US Driver’s License
