Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office by managing day-to-day activities, coordinating office procedures, and supporting financial tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software.
Duties
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Conduct account analysis and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Co-construct for bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Assist in tax preparation and filing processes as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and implement best practices.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in an administrative capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential.
- Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with staff and clients.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this role.
- Minimum of 5 years in construction accounting experience is required, .
