Base Salary $50,000 to $60,000 Incentive Pay ($59,000 to $70,800 depending on experience and performance)

Join Franchise Sidekick as an IT and Quality Assurance Specialist , where you'll ensure our technology systems run smoothly while maintaining rigorous quality standards across all software and infrastructure. In this role, you'll handle day-to-day IT support, perform detailed testing of new features and platforms, and collaborate with the development team to drive ongoing improvements. If you're passionate about delivering stable, secure technology and ensuring every release is top-notch, this role is the perfect match! In this role, you will work on :

IT Support and Infrastructure Management (40%)

  • Provide IT Support : Respond to and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for the team.
  • Manage Systems and Hardware : Set up and maintain workstations, servers, and other technology resources, keeping them secure and updated.
  • Troubleshoot Effectively : Address and resolve technical issues for internal and external users, maintaining consistent communication and documentation.
  • Optimize IT Processes : Continuously evaluate and refine processes, making recommendations for technology improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability.

Quality Assurance and Testing (40%)

  • Develop QA Processes : Create and maintain testing frameworks to uphold high-quality standards for all software releases, updates, and features.
  • Execute Testing Cycles : Conduct functional, regression, and performance tests, identifying bugs and areas for improvement.
  • Track and Document Issues : Maintain detailed records of testing activities, identifying and documenting issues and the resolutions applied.
  • Maintain Release Quality : Work closely with the development team to confirm new features meet performance, security, and usability benchmarks.
  • Technical Collaboration and Growth (20%)

  • Collaborate With Team Members : Work closely with the tech team on IT and QA-related projects, sharing insights and solutions to achieve shared goals.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends : Continuously learn about emerging IT technologies and QA methodologies, incorporating new skills and tools into your work.
  • Contribute to Knowledge Sharing : Assist in creating technical documentation and share expertise with team members to foster a culture of collaboration and growth.
