Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic management of our warehouse, ensuring full inventory control of all EV chargers and related equipment. This role is critical in maintaining supply chain efficiency and supporting cross-functional collaboration with Procurement and Project Development teams. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to logistics, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about renewable energy and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all EV chargers and supporting components stored onsite.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, staging, and distribution.
- Implement and uphold warehouse organization systems, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
- Partner with the Procurement team to track deliveries, manage stock levels, and forecast inventory needs.
- Support Project Development by ensuring timely availability of equipment for deployments and installations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and document warehouse SOPs (standard operating procedures) to support scaling operations.
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards and productivity goals.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize ERP or inventory management software for tracking and reporting purposes.
Education and Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management; prior experience in construction, utilities, or energy sector is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with Procurement and Project teams.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and willingness to be physically active in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
