Francis Energy is a pioneer in the EV (Electric Vehicle) charging industry, having pioneered the nation’s first comprehensive statewide electric vehicle fast-charging network by installing more than 700 fast charging ports throughout the state of Oklahoma. Francis Energy seeks to eliminate range anxiety for EV drivers by direct current fast-charging infrastructure every fifty miles, leaving no community behind. Francis Energy is expanding rapidly throughout the continental U.S. with the goal of creating contiguous statewide fast-charging networks across over forty (40) states, including in rural, underserved, disadvantaged, Tribal and other affected areas in need of public infrastructure to power electric vehicles.
Position Summary:
The operations Site Layout Designer will develop EV charging site layout plans, and support operations and project development associates in the process of developing EV charging sites across the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the utility electrical system is preferred.
- Ability to develop drawings rapidly using AutoCAD, Power Point, etc.
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
- Hands-on experience with drafting site plans and site layouts.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED is a must.
- Associate degree preferred or can be substituted by 2 years of same job experience.
