Dance Asst. Coach

Minimum Stipend Offered: $3,216.00

Purpose Statement

Extra-curricular activities are a vital extension of the student experience. As an Assistant Dance Coach, you will inspire, motivate, and teach students dance-specific skills while fostering positive character traits and building meaningful relationships with athletes both in and outside of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of dance routines and practices.
• Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on technique and performance.
• Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics and choreography.
• Promote a positive and supportive team culture.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.
• Ensure the safety of students during rehearsals and performances.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Passion for teaching dance and motivating students.
• Knowledge of various dance styles and techniques.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Completion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.
