Pay: $20 hr. This position is part time.
Flexible shifts depending on hotel’s needs.
Hours may be anytime between 7 am – 6 pm.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.

Job Summary:
The Hotel Painter is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appearance and overall condition of the hotel’s interior and exterior surfaces. This role involves painting, repairing, and finishing walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces to ensure a welcoming and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and exterior surfaces.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs to maintain the hotel’s appearance.
- Mix and match paint colors as needed to ensure consistency.
- Use tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers to apply coatings effectively.
- Protect furniture, flooring, and fixtures while painting to prevent damage.
- Work with the maintenance team to address painting-related work orders and scheduled renovations.
- Maintain an organized and safe workspace, following all hotel and safety regulations.
- Keep inventory of painting supplies and request restocking as necessary.
- Assist with other maintenance duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a painter, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
- Knowledge of different paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, bend, and lift heavy materials.
- Familiarity with basic safety procedures and use of protective equipment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with wallpaper installation and removal.
- Basic knowledge of drywall repair and minor carpentry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
