What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar position at Francis Tuttle Technology Center?
- Supervises the Registration and Records Management department.
- Maintains accurate and complete student records, including registration, grades, attendance, and demographic data, following local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Maintains and audits accurate data entry for all programs and courses offered at Francis Tuttle Technology Center.
- Implements all data requirements set forth by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technical Education (ODCTE) and other governing agencies to ensure accurate enrollment and activity reports.
- Coordinates the submission of enrollment data to ODCTE and Integrated postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
- Assists with grade reporting to partner schools.
- Collaborates with career advisors, department administrative assistants, cashiers, financial aid staff, and other departments to provide student data on prospective, current, and past students and clients.
- Utilizes the district’s student information system and other tools to generate data reports.
- Supports the ongoing implementation and improvement of data standards.
- Participates in system upgrades, testing, and training as needed.
- Ensures compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Assists with student record requests.
- Assists with department budget.
- Ability to be present on the job as described under working conditions and contract details.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Five years of related work experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and direction.
- Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality of all records and student information.
- Ability and desire to maintain and manage an efficient, well-organized work area.
- Ability to consistently deliver superior customer service and work quality to both internal and external customers.
- Must be able to deal with continuous short-term deadlines, have high multi-tasking skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with academic administration preferred.
- Experience with data analysis tools and software preferred.

Primary Function of Position:
Supervision of the Registration and Records Management department. Provide direction for a system of student records, which maintains and certifies student records in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines. Align processes for all phases of Career Training along with Workforce and Economic Development programs and services.

Organizational Relationship:
Full-time, exempt personnel position directly responsible to the Director of Student Administrative Services.
Contract Details:
Twelve-month contract subject to annual renewal. Working days and hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The district will match up to 2% of monthly, base salary with a 403b or 457 retirement plan (base salary does not include stipends or extra duty).
