WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Customer Service Acts as a liaison between hospital and potential patients; refers patients as appropriate.
Marketing Attends community events to promote classes.
Team Collaboration Coordinates class schedule and collaborates with marketing to promote classes.
Analytics Develops content, recommends pricing and coordinates all logistics and instructions for classes.
Customer Service Works to ensure classes meet patient needs and partners to provide information to potential patients.
Monitor Concerns Uses evaluations and other feedback to monitor age related concerns, sensitive to participant needs, uses anecdotes and audiovisuals that are age appropriate.
Interaction Gains participation through appropriate questions with interaction and shows respect to learners when responding to questions.
Evidence Based-Practices Presents current, well documented information, and refers to evidence based practice, displays working knowledge of childbirth process.
Needs Assessment Identifies individuals needs and communicates relevant student-related information to coordinator.
Needs Accommodation Implements new programs or ideas suited to students needs.
Quality Thoughtfully reviews end of class evaluations and shares with coordinator ideas for quality improvement.
Mentor Shares knowledge and skills with colleagues and others and acts as a mentor/role model. Assists with orienting new instructors as needed.
Flexible work schedule - Classes occur in the evenings typically 6-9pm and Saturday mornings 8:30-11:30am.
Offers 3 classes per month: Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Baby Care
Labor/Delivery/Postpartum experience required
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Required: 3 years Obstetrics
