What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Patient Care Technician position at Franciscan Health?

We are looking for 2 full-time Night PCTs and 1 full-time Day PCT.
Schedule would be three, 12 hour shifts a week.
Days: 7am to 7:30pm
Nights: 7pm to 7:30am
Will be required to work every 3rd weekend.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Provides bathing, oral care, grooming (shaving), urinary catheter and ostomy care; assists with meals and feeding; assists with positioning, ambulation, and mobilization; assists with elimination and toileting.
Screening/Collection/Recording Data & Information: vital signs, intake & output, weights, specimen collection.
Restocks patient room and unit supplies, performs equipment checks.
Transports patients by wheelchair, cart, bed, bassinet.
Answers patient call-lights, telephones, Vocera. Communicates and reports patient data and information to the RN.
QUALIFICTIONS
High School Diploma/GED - Preferred
Nursing student after having completed 1st semester of clinicals OR Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) License, OR, prior PCT experience in another acute care health care organization, OR after completion of Franciscan PCT In-training program- Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support Program (BCLS)- American Heart Association- Required
