Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to determine patient medical protocols and procedures.
- Perform and document MIR exams and procedures, obtaining optimal images for physician review according to policy and protocol.
- Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, or test results.
- Review patient histories of ferrous implants and other possible contraindications for magnetic field scanning.
- Administer contrast media through venous punctures while practicing universal precautions.
- Maintain safety guidelines and utilize safety tools and techniques.
- Develop self-improvement skills.
- Clean, maintain, and restock examination and inventory rooms.
Requirements:
- Prioritized Associate's Degree or Certificate.
- Preferred experience in MRI technology.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) certification.
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Travel Requirements: Rarely required.
